And I’m convinced the Americans shot first, now more than ever.
Anyway, happy actually-fought-for Independence Day to our lot. May our basketball team qualify for the Olympics and get grouped with the USA team.

There’s a sizeable (for small UK towns) Filipino community in a nearby town, over 400 Filipino nurses and Doctors working at the Hospital and their families. I’m thankful everytime I need to visit.
I hope they are all celebrating today, I am celebrating the Queen’s official birthday today, because she’s a strong independent woman, who don’t need no man.
